Some finish: GC man Carapaz just holds off sprinter Ewan.
    Only at the Giro.
Lopez limits his losses, but as for the rest....
Yates and nibali lose 23 seconds Tao in that group I think

    In that Lopez group?

Bad for the race. There is time to comeback as long as that knee isn't too bad

All caused by Sivakov looking around in the middle of the peloton.

    TD ships over 4 mins.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

They just packed the road. You could see it getting choppy up front. This does appear to be a feature of current tactics

I saw 23 on the clock but a few stray riders may have stretched the group a bit

All the GC boys were in the same group, timed at 18", except for Landa at 44" and Dumoulin at 4'-04".

Carapaz took a jump about 200m out. Rest hesitated before Ewan tried to get back, but could't quite get there.

It's the tactic of packing the front of the peloton with multiple trains

    I don't think it's tactics. Crashes happen...
