get some mesh and glue it in.

Could that not compromise the integrity of the foam?

No. You are using a light adhesive like Airfix or similar not a nail gun.

Exactly the kind of thing that we are told not to get in contact with our helmets..............
  • Given that helmets may not be of much real use then the application of DEET may not ge as detrimental as once thought.....

Or if you were too late reading this use the airfix adhesive to glue the helmet back together.

  • I don't see how any skull cap or casquette would prevent a wasp or bee actually stinging you if it got in and couldn't get out. I got stung by a wasp thru a pair of jeans once, so I'd imagine they can get thru a pishy bit of cotton or lycra,

As above, it's happened to me quite a few times recently, but the designs nowadays mean they quickly get escorted out the back door by the airflow...

Insects are dying out apparently so just wait a few years and there will be none left.

I suspect that insects will still be here long after humans have committed eco suicide.
PS - To avoid insects inside your helmet, stop putting them in your underwear.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Have you heard of the apostrophe or capitalisation? You would use them for example as follows:

    "You're a dinosaur."

    "You're a bigot."

"I'm sure that you've realised how many people you've just insulted."

    Hope that helps.
