    My point was/is that many tens of thousands of people have read his book, many of these have used this to organise their training and design a training programme. So on that basis I stated it was a fairly standard recommendation.
    I don't think I ever stated that this was necessarily correct. However:

    A recovery week does not mean a week off the bike or even a week of recovery rides it will mean different things to different people but will probably include two or three easier days.
