Got a day of assembling ikea furniture. Might try to fit in a ride at some point.
First decent night's sleep for ages.

gxp/bb30 and any press fit derivatives = crap.
Campagnolo outboard cups in threaded bb shell = ace.

Windy and wet here. First precipitation for a while. Seems odd.

    Laters.

Can I offer you a waffeur thin mint, monsieur?

Morning, doing a spot of online shopping here - need some new music for those boring motorway trips. I think some heavy metal and punk are in order. I expect other jobs when captain chaos and her apprentice get back

24 to 22mm shims - who woulda thunk it would be such a hassle?

i looked a couple of years ago, gave up, gxp is stupid

bb30 is lovely, my shiny bike is bb30, tens of thousands of all weather riding, still lovely, the advantage of steel

slightly nippy start, a pleasant ride, added a couple of cafe stops to enjoy sitting in the warm sun and replace many calories

Just washed a winters worth of grime off the commuter bike - there was so much crap I washed in in the road and had to have a shower afterwards.

I worked it out for you:

    Ashford > Salisbury > Bristol > Cardiff > Aberystwyth > Stockport > Durham > Redcar

...and possibly an over night stay in Durham. I mean, you wouldn't want to over do it.

you do realise that if you take that route you'll either be poisoned by Russians or have your wheels stolen?

at least if you have to get a train back to Brizzle you can pull a student.

Had some pink gin last night mixed with aromatic Fever Tree to wash down the curry. Top stuff even if it did look like a cocktail.
