Anyone else applied for a Volunteer role at 2023 Worlds? I have. Process is not simple; lots of personal Qs in the initial application, now just completed stage 1 of the next part, watch learn answer questions. Suppose it's a way of making sure they get people who are interested enough, not just fat arris phone tappers.

I've opted for Dumfries for the para roads and Glentress for the MTB XC, closest to me.

Yep, my OH and I have applied, Glentress and Edinburgh our options

Just had to share these 2 belters from The Crow Road this morning.

Rainbow Bands on the KOMGOAT favourite Scottish climb ...

The Rainbow bands won't be decided here next year, but the peletons will look awesome descending past this.

  • Looking at booking hotels, can anyone with knowledge of the trains Know how likely it is to get to and from Hamilton on the day of the race?

Ridiculously easy. Trains every 15-20 mins on the low level line.

Even on a Sunday trains from Hamilton to Glasgow Central are about every 20 to 30 mins and take about 30 mins max.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

If you are going to see TT and road race I’d suggest trying somehwere around Stirlingshire. Falkirk for instance will see some of the road race then u could get train into Glasgow. The TT routes are all around Stirling and finishing up the castle. Not so easy to get to from Hamilton.
