I have been informed by management that we are off to the in laws today where I can knock a hole in the father in laws rum stash.

Today is a bit like yesterday which will probably be a bit like tomorrow.

Shorty wanted to know about the Fox, so we watched this:

No chance - that would have meant stopping drinking at midnight yesterday

    Happy New Year All,

One more day of rest then back to the routine. On the plus side it's only 2 weeks to my skiing holiday :)

cobwebs blown away, that still leaves the giant spiders

feels nippier out, but at least it's not quite as gloomy, even saw a smidge of blue sky through a gap in the clouds

    Morning folks,
Wound up having a quiet night in with the Mrs and a few bottles last night, very pleasant. As had been noted after the year we’ve had we just hid and said good riddance to 2018.
Was TLW the only one to wake up with a little scouser inside him? I hope I didn’t misunderstand what they got up to in the local. Will 2019 be the year the Imposter and MM finally get it together, sweet that they spent the new year together in a virtual sense. They do say it’s a thin line between love and hate.
Off to see the old dear for lunch, lentils I suspect. I don’t like them, but it’s traditional.
Christmas tree is going today, it takes up too much space in our little house and the lad has some mates crashing on the couch this week.
    Back to reality tomorrow.

Happy New Year indeed. We stayed in. Rubbish day to start 2019 today though... :D Took a drive up the coast for lunch, and this is the views we had to put up with...

Nice one spinner. Better than the gloomy grey London suburbs.
Early ish start. Walked dog. The day stretches ahead like a big yawn.
Mrs H3 will want to watch Luther later.

She has spent the last few days on BA'a website looking for this year's summer holiday. Looks like she wants to go to Florida and Mexico/Jamaica. I really don't want to go to Florida.

A dreadlock holiday is a much better option,

Sat here having freshly squeezed the oranges with tons of ice.
My Granary loaf is in the oven and ready in ooh, about... 17 mins. :D

All is peaceful bar the coughing and sniffing. I've got off scot free mostly.
Then drop toots and OH to grandma's and take the porker for a spin.

Spinner, I don’t know how you cope with such miserable conditions. Mind you, can’t really grumble it’s not too bad today.
Just heard from the lad, got back to his girlfriend’s a little after 6am and is feeling a bit fragile. Good job it’s a late lunch at his gran’s.

Thanks. She's insane when it comes to holiday planning. Apparently Florida is essential. I'd rather boil my balls in treacle. In my mind it's for taxi drivers/builders what done good, or where blue rinsed Americans go to die/play golf. I'm not sure why I have to fly 9 hours either, when southern Europe in July is hot and sunny.

There are some good bits to Florida but in summer it's just too hot & humid and rammed with tourists like any other summer holiday destination. Better for a bit of winter sun IMO. Try to steer her onto the Caribbean like MF said.
