Think of what you're doing to you livers

    Anyone got some decent cigars?

I haven't but I would like a Fonseca No.2 if there's one kicking around in someone's cupboard, somewhere...

It's the double malt (ie doppio malto) - will see how it goes down tomorrow lunchtime. Plenty of Leffe on standby otherwise... ;)

Last time I had Port was in that underground bar in Covent Garden. IIRC, it was under the canopy section. The Port I had (dunno what it was), was excellent.

This one is very more-ish. The 40 yo should be a real treat.

I think you mean Gordon's wine bar near Charing X?

No, it was definitely Covent Garden, down some stairs. 1989 though!

The Punch and Judy has a downstairs bit.
Was once in a pub with some friends, one girl was drinking port. As I was buying a round the barman commented it was the second bottle of port he’d opened that night and she was the only one drinking it. That girl could hold her drink.

Just come back from in laws where I drank half a bottle of the father in law's Kraken this morning. He certainly knows how to pour a measure.

Was looking for sloe gin earlier and seems I’m down to the last bottle. On the hunt we did come across some absinthe. One commercial brand at a mere 57% and a small spherical bottle of unidentifiable Swiss filth. As I recall it’s made in a barn and absolute rocket fuel. That’s NYE sorted, then.

You should be able to get through a firkin in a morning, so a barrel seems sensible. I love the Joules Slumbering Monk.
Wonder if Joules will ever move back to Stone?

I’m missing a pint of slumbering monk as they haven’t followed me North to Lancashire.

Currently sipping a glass of Teaninich 17 year special release. Gods nectar.

God, that's a few years back.
Slaters in St Albans Rd, produce some nice ales. The Newhall Arms have some cracking ales.
