    Interesting stuff going on with Greg Hands, Carol Vorderman, and Jo Maugham.

    Hands threatened Vorderman over Tweets in which she accused him of shady dealing, she took them down and apologised, but Maugham has waded in with a number of questions directly relating to the matter.

    I think we might be seeing the Streisand effect again.

    Jo Maugham has a rare ability in my experience to repel those who are actually supportive of his position. He appears to an attention-seeking grandstander (which are highly undesirable characteristics in my book) and rather confirms this with a shameless plug for his new book in the Twitter exchange referenced.

    Agree re the "Streisand Effect". In the social media age, keeping your head down is likely the best course of action.

    myself and others on here have told you for years that Blair/Brown started a massive transfer of wealth to private sector landlords.

    Couple that with the massive transfer of wealth to allow the likes of Tesco to employ people at below livable rates of pay an you have a massive scandal.

    If this was the Tories it would easily be explained away by enriching their donors and keeping their core vote happy but what are the off the shelf explanations for this New Labour scandal?
