modified saddle for recovering from stitches

Looking for suggestions on how to modify a bike saddle. I'm scheduled to have a cyst removed this week...it started as a saddle sore about 6 months ago. Derm gave me several injections to get me by but it eventually comes back. I had a large one removed last winter and it took 4 weeks to get back on the bike and start training - i definitely lost some fitness but it always comes back.
I'd like to try a modified saddle in 1-2 weeks just to keep some sort of fitness during the healing process and ride the trainer.
Has anyone ever tried this and if so, any suggestions?

Depends on where the stitches are...

Hey that might work but not at $240! I'll just modify a saddle. I'll be sure to post photos to get some chuckles0 -

The manufacturer was offering a 30 day money back guarantee though - might be long enough for your stitches to heal up and cost you nothing!Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
I think I'd tend to wait for stitches etc to heal. If you don't get it right could put you back even further to recovery, getting / trying new saddle are a gamble at the best of times as we all know.0

Just remove saddle and post completely and ride standing on the pedals like our local Deliveroo rider or a Yoof on a BMX...
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.
