A bloke who seemingly thought the weight of a bike was the be all and end all was given sound advice that might prevent him from buying something completely unsuitable and wasting ££££££s in the process. What's not to like about that?
A standard BR thread would have involved a ubiquitous poster with lots of user names wading in with a complete load of bollox and then getting banned again.0 -
https://www.merlincycles.com/eddy-merck ... 04303.htmlThe Eddy Merckx Blockhaus 67 road bike is made from super-light (1,150 grams) aluminium and is matched with a light, compliant carbon fork weighing only 360 grams.
Lightest bike for least money you can buy atm i reckon.
& a light bike does feels nice to ride even if it doesn't make much difference in average speed .0 -
