"So when is it your turn?"
Asked of me and my better half at every fuck1ng wedding that we attend.
This is usually asked by older people at family weddings, you should get your own back by asking the same question of them at family funerals . . .

Once you do get married they will start asking when you're going to have kids, assuming you don't already.

The only sensible response is to give an explicitly detailed answer covering exactly when, where and how, what props and outfits will be used, etc. Keep going until they change the subject.

    Ha!

No plans for kids, not ruling out marriage entirely but neither of us are genuinely bothered or fussed.

The detailed breakdown is a nice idea though... :D

We used to say we were still practising, maybe more detail would have helped.
  • Detailed breakdown? A very unusual mental health issue and not one for a forum discussion.

Quite a high stakes approach though, as they might take you up on the offer.

Here's one: why start another 'trivial' thread when we already have 2 good ones going? :)

Blame Pinno and Oxoman - they seem to have started the trend for trying to unimaginatively snatch high post thread count glory by posting pointlessly derivative ever so slightly differently topic'd threads the posts of which could probably all happily sit in the existing threads. There's a special place in hell for these people.......

    Infamy at last.

Do people really measure their worth in terms of threads started and their longevity?

    Not always.
