Anyone else able to move their kneecap around when their leg is straight?
Didnt realise it wasnt normal til I nearly made people sick showing them! Knee has been a bit sore this week so I was messing with it and it moves up and down and side to side quite a bit. It has moved for as long as I remember but I tend to forget about it unless it hurts.
If yours is the same any tips for stopping it hurting?
Thanks

Kneecaps will move about if you push them. They are attached by tendons top and bottom, but these are relaxed when your leg is straight and supported. There's also a groove behind so they track in the correct plane as the leg is bent.
Lots of things cause painful knees. Try rest and ibuprofen. And leave your kneecaps alone.0 -
Stop playing with it, you’ll break it.0

Everyone should be able to when your leg is straight.
I found that when I was having ITB/Knee issues I couldn't move them around much. Now it's sorted they are back to floating properly0 -
