Van der Breggen is putting van Vleuten to the sword. Totally different tempos. Annemiek is turning a massive gear while Anna is off.

Van der Breggan starting to pull out a lead now - space for the Mavic moto to slot in now...

Just 50m in it, possibly less, but VDB looks like she's determined to take as much as she possibly can ahead of the descent. Plenty of time for it to come back together on the downhill.

Moolman is very slowly winding that gap back in to Van Vleuten

Van Vleuten is all over the bike. Van der Breggen is going to struggle to stay away on the descent.

VDB looked like she was being caught at the summit, but holding van Vleuten off for now.

Moolman looks like she doesn't like/ know how to descend. Lots of time on the tops and a long way back.

Van Vleuten looks like she's panicking a bit behind - looks like she's chasing hard, but not taking any time back. Pedalling seemed to be quite staccato compared to VDB.

Van Vleuten cannot close the gap to AvdB.

I dunno. Was 10s now its only 5.

Not sure how reliable the gaps are. What can she do? Just pedal her legs off and see what happens!

VDB with just 5 seconds in the last 2.5km - this is all about power now.

AvV to do the AvdB what AvdB did to that US girl in the 'lympics...

Eurosport giving the racing the hard sell. Brilliant this, brilliant that.
I think we have known who the winner will be from the top of the Colombiere.

Van Vleuten seems to get a second wind out of each corner as she sees her prey, but can't hold that effort to close the gap. Cracking racing though.
