  • I've just noticed that the team bikes have the oily fade too. They look to be mainly dark navy with pinks and purples round the head tube and seat tube area. Very natty indeed.

That is a good looking. I like the sloping top tube and general non-carboning, painted in shades of beige would be the ultimate, but you can't have everything!

Perfect paint job for alloy. I don't understand carbon frames finished with metallic silver paintwork.

  • The EF Rapha Pro Team training jersey is very nice. And, if you were after the training jersey, it's £25 cheaper than the normal version.

Yeah. The best so far for me was the Specialized torch which was something new.

Yes, I do like that - just been on the Rapha site and that is my first choice. Good job I've kept my CAAD12

No Cannondale logos on the training jersey so we can all have one! ;-)

Seems odd to not include any long-sleeve tops in January.

it seems the one downside of Rapha making team kits, they dont quite get the point of the sales to fans bit, I dont know if its because they are partly still stuck in that only team riders should wear team kit mindset which Id have been more believing of maybe 5 years ago, but theyve changed alot since then.

But you saw the difference when Sky moved to Castelli, you can FKW yourself to your hearts content with Castelli in this years kit now, whilst Rapha tended to just stick to short sleeve jerseys and some shorts, and maybe a couple of specials throughout the year.

Rapha released tonnes of Sky kit at all price points from kids stuff to full Pro editions and then milked the Tour wins with special editions.

Nothing staggeringly different, but I like the flat top tube lowered stays and general carboning.

Horizontal top tube will always be a winner for me
Bottle holders are a bit meh
Yeah, at the cost of aerodynamics.

Mclaren cars, especially the Senna is a right mess to look at. Viewing it in terms of using air flow to aid performance it's a functional work of art.

I would have bought this one over the one on offer.

Cav with his warping machine giving his arms a rest.

Doesn't he normally do that by using his face as a brake?

If I crashed that much I probably wouldn't be riding around in a £150k watch.

It’s important for riders who do a lot of track in the winter to wear a large watch on their right arm for early season - counteracts all that pulling to the left.

To be fair to him, Richard Mille's RM 50-03 McLaren F1 watch is very nice (although I wouldn't pay £964,000 for one)

Casio's have a subtantial amount of timepieces too and if you fall of it's not too irritating.

It's a timepiece abomination! A simple, classy hi-beat Grand Seiko is all you need on your wrist.

I wear a solar powered G-Shock which never needs winding up, and it received a radio signal every night so I never have to adjust the time. Perfect watch!
