TSS Difference between Wahoo and Training Peaks

On every ride I do the TSS in my Wahoo BOLT is always higher than what is shown on training peaks.
131 vs 120 tonight, that is typical.
TP and Element App all show the same FTP.
Any ideas why?

They calculate it differently and/or the input assumptions are not the same.
Are they using same FTP setting?
What does each report for Normalized Power?
How are they handling breaks in the data stream?0 -

235 / 0.78 = 301
Given NP is pretty close, it looks like a different FTP setting to me.0 -
I think that’s the conflict but wherever I look they are the same. I’ll do more digging.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I had the same issues.
Make sure power figures and HR zone differentials are the same on both formats. Problem solved for me.0 -

I don't use a HRM so no issue there, I have re-saved the FTP on the app (TP and Wahoo) and in training peaks, I'll see what happens later.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I had similar until I realised that my TP FTP wasn't what I thought it was. In TP settings there is a default power threshold value and a bike power threshold value. One (I can't remember was out) so I adjusted it to match FTP in all other apps I use and things aligned after that - still get the odd discrepancy of 1 or 2 but that's down to different methods of calculating TSS across the apps (I presume).0
