    Why has Aru abandoned?

Carabinieri forgot to bring along their tagalong bike for him today.

Pretty much confirms what I saw in the TT: that by drafting Aru gained a heck of a lot more than the 20 seconds he was penalised.

Poor guy, though. There must be something wrong at his team.

No break until everybody blows up on the Finestre then.

    not a lot of sympathy.

the team has made a string of d1ck moves the whole race.

Well the team are blaming his team. No more personal coaching and sent to the Tour as punishment.

Bit of a split. Maybe 40 seconds between leaders and Maglia Rosa group.

I hope yates is back on form or he might get dropped on the first one. Its not beyond the realms of possibility that yates and domoulin lose big time today and Froome ready to take pink tomorrow

    FML

Just wondering why the FML? You said in your other thread you wanted to see a fight?

It would have to be a very very good day indeed for Froome if he could make up time on all three ahead of him. Even with bad days allowed for, all three of them aren't going to capitulate, surely? And if he does, at least one of them would bank on him having Saturday like the day after the Zoncolan and make some of that time back.

The break is hardly more than 30 seconds ahead, so no use for bridging on the Finestre.

Is that a prediction or is my feed way behind, I've still got them at 24 seconds.

They'd got to the point where they were all in the same camera shot, but looks like they've let a much diminished group get away again - 53 seconds now
