Wales. God's own country.
Morning anyhow.
In God’s other own country or county it’s dank. I might have to sit on the turbo for something to do today.
I tried to hold my repaired arm out in front me yesterday and it appears I don’t have the strength to do that. Full fitness may take some time to return.0 -
WFH as I need to ferry the GF to l'hopital and back at awkward times. Currently helping to come up with a plan to replace some trees with wind turbines which always feels a bit wrong to me. Off climbing later for the first time this year, then staying at a mate's so we can go out and get pissed (not for the first time this year). Bikes both days this weekend, muchos anticipation0

Hacking like a V68, with streaming nose and eyes. Still rode to work though, as it's all above the neck. In fact, the bike ride is the best I feel all day. Had one of those coughs that only kicks in whilst prone last night, so had to sleep propped up, which meant virtually no sleep. Therefore in a pretty crappy mood. Setting up an interview for early next week though, which should be interesting. Wasn't really looking, as rather hoping for a redundancy payout from here, but if this goes anywhere, I might see if I can circumvent the no voluntary redundancy rule by offering to take only a percentage of the payout - I get some cash, my current employer saves some money, I walk into a new job. You'd think everyone would be happy. Getting ahead of myself a bit though.0

Him 'Tarzan', her 'Jane'.
Soggy here.
Toots are exceptionally noisy. Add washing machine.
Not sure what the plan is today. That damn easterly can bloody stop, it's bitter.
Coughing but not on Hoppy scale.
It's all a bit of a mess here. So many things to sort and I intend to sort it all today. Is that a silly notion?

Morning, no rain here just damp from the past few days, grey an now warm either. Spring is no longer supported and summer has been pushed back into beta so we are defaulting to autumn as a backup from the look of it.
Hire company delivered a suitable replacement car finally (Insignia estate) so OH decided to start using that. Weekend prep has began as in I'm doing the total sum of nothing, which is a good start I think.0 -
Having loads of fun in the damp and misty North East dealing with headstones for graves and auctioneers to sell off contents of parents house. May have a drink later."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Utterly manic here today, the problem with being out of the office. Sorry about the cough H³, I do sympathise. Mine isn't as bad now but just lingering, that reminds me I must phone the quacks to see if my X ray results are in. Aah hell! Just been told there's a customer in the shop to see me, I really want to tell them to fark orff but they are about to give me a few grand so I'll wait until after they've paid before I tell them.
onwards and upwards...0 -
