    Have fun.

I think Sagan got goaded into attacking too early. He could win of course, but it's probably too early for him. Big benefit that he isn't alone though

Sagan is right to complain, no team support really.

    and who's fault is that?

    How`d you mean ?

Well if you go to a little team and ask for a huge salary you can't expect to have a top class team too.

Why on earth are they helping Terpstra/Gilbert?

Sagan wanted a massive salary (over €6m rumoured) so the team can't afford any other support riders. If Sagan had gone to a bigger team or asked for less money, he would have more support riders.

The remains of he break are working with him though.

There's a bit of politics in the Terpstra GVA group

I find him hard to read. At times he can look absolutely knackered and pull a rabbit from his hat.

  • I figure Sagan thinks even if it does come back together the selection that reaches him will be small enough and will have done enough work that he'd still fancy it. Attacking early is one of the few ways he could somewhat negate QS's strength. Terpstra not doing much less to close the gap than Sagan did to make it.

If they don't start working properly, Sagan is going to ride away with this.

Popped into my local bar in Chiang Mai to find the cycling on the telly and a classic 70s punk mix playing on the stereo. Superb day.

So, what does Terpstra do if they catch Sagan anyway?
Still has GVA with him + others, Degenkolb still behind him.
Easy for Sagan here, do a bit of work and stay away a while, don't worry too much about being caught.

Yeah they are working well. Looks like Sagan is finding a second wind!

  • They kinda stopped sitting about looking at each other, They will need to get concentrated to stop Sagan running away with it.

Terpstra et al just reduced the gap by 10secs, I don’t want Sagan to ride away with this so a bit more of that please

Gap dropping a bit. Not enough though...
  • I`d love Sagan to ride away with this.

And pull a huge manual across the line

I think Terpstra will put the hammer down on the Carefour de l'arbre. I predict Vanmarcke will be able to follow.
