Potential damage of Urethra

I’ll obviously go to the doctors if it persists but due to using a new saddle on Wednesday I appear to have damaged the old boy. Spent a lot of time on the nose which developed an odd feeling, realised now I should have stopped!
It’s painful to urinate, (mainly when I start) but no pain or discomfort at any other time. Highly unlikely it’s an infection (yet) as it would be too much of a coincidence.
I wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar?
Advice welcomed.

I occasionally have the same problem and that's how I get it - too much time on the front of the saddle during a ride that involves a lot of very steep climbing or a fast, all guns group ride or sportive and I'm not shifting my position enough. I get home and have a 'nippy pi$$'. Passes quickly though (excuse the pun).0 -

45 miles mainly flat, full on 22mph club ride, so your diagnosis rings true. It’s better again today so hoping tomorrow it’ll be sorted.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Someone I know developed quite a lot of scarring due to prolonged riding on the 'rivet' and needed a fairly uncomfortable 'reaming' operation under the perineum that kept him off the bike for a while.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

If I had pain when urinating I'd be getting my prostate checked tomorrow0

No symptoms today, but at 42 prostate checks and the like are probably on the horizon.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I would not mess with that and have it checked ASAP. If docs say it's all good I'd still look into a noseless saddle e.g. ISM.0
