Sorry Sorry! It's been a manic few weeks and I haven't found the time to do the scores. Off on holiday for two weeks and managed to squeeze the update in before I go.

So... as we head to the Tour de France, after four rounds (16-19) we've had a nearly a doubling of the leading scores. And no change in the top position... kudos to inseine!

    inseine 742
    rozzer32 739
    springclassic 696
    TheBigBean 655

    stanislav 644
    Red.Rider 639
    Dorset Boy 636
    Milton50 619
    ContrelaMontre 606

Right, I'm off to the Dolomites now...

The Tour de France PTP thread will be put up over the weekend and I promise it will be the best yet. Not only the standard PTP but green, white, polka dot jerseys available win (metaphorically). And an innovation - a combativity award

After dogged (pointless) determination from me & others to add picks for the Tour de Suisse last year I wouldn't worry too much

In my defence, I think I've seen two, maybe three, references to the London race- all after the event about Cavendish's performance.

I count that as no entries, tout le monde nil points.

No worries. I totally forgot also. And I really struggled to find out the result either... curiously more coverage of the women's result than the men's!

Stoked with my top 10 position... I'll be riding defensively to protect this now as the gap to the podium looks insurmountable!

I think we should be checking Rozzer and Inseine's garage for a Delorean...

Sorry! Turns out its been ages since I updated the master spreadsheet!

Anyway, after Rounds 22-26 here are the Results

Only two more rounds (Paris Tours and Lombardy) to go with a potential maximum of 100 points up for grabs... It's a two horse race between rozzer32 and Red.Rider - though stanislav could be in with a shout if rozzer32 goes lame for the last two races. But right now our current champion is on track to take a third title. Is that a record?

Some movement in the top10 with our early leader springclassic dropping out of the top10 entirely.

    Top 10
    rozzer32 1319
    Red.Rider 1249
    stanislav 1219
    TwoToeBenny 1206
    inseine 1175
    dish_dash 1172
    ducknumber1 1158
    TheBigBean 1155
    Dorset Boy 1132
    OCDuPalais 1108

As ever, let me know if you think there's an error. Happy to correct any mistakes.

That's all folks, Il Lombardia was our last race of the season.

Congratulations to rozzer32 for winning again! A third PTP title having won in 2017 and 2011. Great result!

Despite rozzer having wrapped up the win last weekend the top 10 remained pretty tight with notable mention to ducknumber1 for leap frogging up to fourth. Update: And I've just re-run the scores with Nibali in second for Lombardy which means that ShockedSoShocked made a late surge into the top 10. Sorry OCDuPalais.

A big thank you to everyone that's helped score this year: Red.Rider, RichN95, Bobmcstuff, Ridgerider, gregster04, ducknumber1. It wouldn't happen without you.

Back again in February 2019 for Omloop Het Nieuswsblad!
  • Quite happy to sneak in to the top 10 :) Thank you to dish_dash and the other scorers. I might have to actually ride my bike to pass the weekends now!

    Well done (again) rozzer.

Definitely helped maintain my interest through the year even on days like that TdF stage into Chartres.

Looking forward to February already. Going to have to review my Quintana obsession I reckon next year. Now off to the turbo.

If only I was the real life Sagan and not just the PTP version.

Thanks for everyone who ran it this year, wouldn’t be possible without you!

Hopefully next year can be title number four. See you all in February!
