PTP 2018
Alright folks, it's PTP time!
No changes to the format or races (though I did wonder about putting in Tour de Yorkshire).
Will still run a World Cup covering the spring classics.
Anyone able to help with the scoring? Please volunteer and let me know what you can or can't do, particularly the GTs. It's very simple and I'll send you a googlesheet template closer to the day.

How to Play
Playing along with PTP is extremely simple - you don't have to sign up or join anything other than the Bikeradar forums. If you're already a member here, that means you're already eligible to play.
A few days before each of the chosen races, a PTP thread will be started in the Pro Race forum. That thread will contain a selection of useful links - start lists, race maps, past winners and so on. All you have to do is consider who you think is likely to win and post their name in that thread. It's that simple. If the race in question is a stage-race, you also get to predict the daily stage winners.
Post your pick in the relevant PTP thread before the cut off. If you change your mind then please post as a new post rather than editing your old post.
As you play, your scores will be added up and the overall season rankings will be updated in this thread.
We will also be running a PTP World Cup for the highest scores in 11 spring classics (marked by a * in the race list).

Doping
Points are finalised once the race organisations publishes their results. No adjustments will be made if it later emerges that a rider has failed a drugs test or if a rider has wins retrospectively removed from his palmares.
Prediction Cut-off
Always the contentious one! The cut off is 12pm (noon) on the day of the race. This is strict so predictions at 12.01 won't be counted (exceptions made for split-stages, evening prologues etc). No GC selections will be accepted once a stage-race has begun.
No changes to the format or races (though I did wonder about putting in Tour de Yorkshire).
Will still run a World Cup covering the spring classics.

DM'd you but it seems to be hanging in my outbox...
Can't do: Omloop, KBK, Paris-Nice, E3, Giro (away 1st week and middle of second week, happy to help if you need odd days/final week)
No idea about the rest of it yet0 -
Happy to help out, can't currently do:
Kuurne Brussels Kuurne
Classica San Sebastian0 -
I'd have the TdY in there but then I might be a bit biased.
I can't do Fleche or Ride London but I'm free to do anything else. I did Paris-Nice and the Tour of Britain last year but am happy to do something else so we can cover the lot.0 -

+ several
I quite like PTP
I quite like TDY
All other posts should be disregarded (some would say they should too).0 -

I'm no Dumoulin. I want a shot at the big show.Twitter: @RichN950 -

No rumours of an adverse statistical finding then?0 -
Happy to help with the scoring if needed. Thanks in advance for organising!0
-
Thanks everyone for volunteering! I've added TdY by popular request (you can score it too gregster). Provisional scoring allocation in the first post. Let me know if any don't work for you, or if you actually really wanted to score a particular race.0
-
Pleased the TDY is in there.
Pleased so many people will still be involved.
I think this is my 11th PTP season, I'm fully prepped for it0 -

Feeling the pressure to follow this, must get some training in now.0 -

I can do my races, if anyone needs to swap that is fine although I'm not keen on giving up the TdY now that it has been successfully incorporated!0 -
Double post0
-
Adding Tirreno–Adriatico would be good although I am not able to score this year.0
-
The convention was that we didn't double up races. Think that largely stems from when one person ran the whole show.
With multiple scorers I'm happy to add Tirreno-Adriatico. RidgeRider, you can do it and I've also given you Scheldeprijs. TheBigBean can buy you a beer next time0 -

Alright so the situation after Round 10 (Schelderpris, which was a washout) and Round 11 (Paris Roubaix).
WC Results
In the World Cup, it's been a low scoring season and a Sagan pick sped up the sleeping sloth and moved Speeding Sloth into the lead with ContrelaMontre also living by their name and playing a negative split. Springclassic slips down to third. Three rounds to go with 150 points to play for so plenty could still happen...
