Cycling after Levaquin

CanyonBikerCanyonBiker Posts: 14
I’m coming off the flu and pneumonia. I was given levaquin, which according to the doctor and google has some dangerous side effects including muscle/tendon tears. I have a gran Fondo coming up and was wondering if anyone else had issues with Levaquin and any advice. Thanks!

    When is the GF?

    What dose were you not?

How long were you on for?

Have you spoken to your doctor as he knows your personal medical condition instead of some random people on a bicycle forum?

Talk to your doctor only. Don't take medical advise if forums apart from go and see your doctor.

Crowds have no wisdom. That is why they are crowds.

    Go and see your doctor.

What if it was a 'crowd' of doctors?
  • MatthewfalleMatthewfalle Posts: 17,380

as others have said talk to your Doctor... I was hospitalised with pneumonia and it wiped me out for a couple of months and ended up having to take time off work to recover and had to be careful with exercise for 6months. Take care of yourself there's more to life than cycling :)
