Kristoff takes the last stage of Oman for UAE, leaving Sunweb this season's wooden spoon winners.
Congrats to ducknumber1 and one other :-)Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

Sunweb get a win. So that's all of them. Is it me or is it kinda unusual for every team to have got a win before the season has officially started (official start being Het Volk on Sat).
I'd argue that there is no obvious laggard team about (Lampre/Jumbo/Cannondale in the past)... could make for a competitive season.0 -
Is that WT races or any race?0

Yeah they've got to be favourite although not sure wins for Bahrain Merida will be coming in thick and fast. Cannondale and Lampre still battling it out basically0 -

My mistake, can see myself getting confused between the two fairly often I feel0 -

I think you might be right. Everyone has a win before we've even started the season, which kicks off tomorrow with OHN ;-)Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

It's not helped by Bahrain riding Merida bikes and being managed by Brent Copeland, both ex-Lampre. Could the argument be made that Bahrain are the spiritual, although not direct, successors of Liquigas?0 -

Yeah that's what threw me, the Merida connection. Would say that's a fair analogy actually with the presence of Nibbles0 -

Not at WT level, no.
Cav has been out for most of it, EBH still isn't Merckx, Cummings has been ill and not picked in TdF.... There's not that much potential for a win elsewhere in the team. Eisel or Renshaw? Berhane, Kudus, a van Rensburg, Meintjes, Pauwels? None of them really strike fear into a peloton. A third of the squad is over 30 - some well over.
No wonder they bought in some WT points in Valgren for next season.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0
