Homemade Electrolyte Drink Recipes?

Does anybody have any recommendations for a homemade electrolyte drink? Considered buying gels or drinks but would rather have something a bit more natural. It's summer here, and I'm finding I'm struggling on particularly hot days (further exacerbated by the compulsory helmet laws here).

Thanks!

1 litre bottle use sugar at 70grams, half teaspoon of salt, normal tap water with any sugar free cordial to flavour cover the salt/sugar taste. I use lime cordial just a normal amount.

Half water, half apple juice, decent pinch of salt.

Not sure why I did this but I started putting fresh lemon juice in mine with a bit of salt...and I **think** it is leading to a sore throat. To be tested further.

Which doesn't make sense, there are lots of drinks that are made with lime and lemons.

I guess they use lemon flavor not actual juice. Maybe you used too much?

You cant beat green coconut water, during 2nd world war they even used it for blood transfusions if saline solutions were not available.
It contains all the electrolytes in the right balance with little sugar.
