Good news for those able to receive L'Equipe is an increase in cycling coverage (150 days promised). Looking forward to L'Etoile de Besseges in a few weeks time (or even the TDU next week!)

L'Equipe have now published a full list of the races being shown this year.

  • An inauspicious start to TDU coverage on Freesports - the programme start was incorrect by an hour which meant the 2 hrs recorded (by Sky boxes anyway) was 60 mins of Transworld Sports and 90-60km of the race.

Answer honestly, which was more interesting?

:P Transworld was watched on x32 speed... Liggett and Sherwen were enough to make me skip the 60 mins I had recorded... so probably the former!

Yeah they seem to be the only provider to not take it. You're not missing much btw. Picture quality is poor.

And no repeats. Recording the rest of the race with the next scheduled programme too.
Meanwhile, it's all on L'Equipe this afternoon at 2-45pm.

On Stage 1 my Sky recording finished 58km from the end!

Ah yes Mr The Cuckoo, apologies.

The same footage was voiced over by GCN - which was more agreeable than Phil and Paul.
  • Its wasn't even on last night... or my sky box missed it.

Was never due to be - two stages shown delayed because of clash with ice hockey (was on this morning instead, like Wed).
  • It was enough to confuse both my Sky box and me :(

Caught up now though so no harm done.
  • Eurosport are showing both Aussie races at various points over the next few weeks. TDU from 26th Jan then Cadel from Sun 28th. Not sure if they'll use the Phil & Paul comms or do it in house (last year Cadel was done in house iirc). First live race is the Volta a Communicat a la Valenciana from 31st Jan.
  • Vuelta a San Juan is live from Argentina this week, Evening coverage here.

    Excellent feed, but Spanish commentary.
Currently 73kms to go on stage 2.

Another ITT on a motorway, today, though.

    English and French coverage.

Belgian and Dutch coverage. ( below the article)

Italian coverage for their cup races.

Starting with the Trofeo Laigueglia (live for the 1st time, I think) this coming Sunday.

  • Looks as if British Eurosport are the only ones not offering tv coverage of Algarve.
All other franchises have the race, following the Ruta.
However, it is available via their player.

In fairness it is the olympics on at the moment.
