Morning all,
Just to say a huge thanks for all of your advice and support, especially kingdave for the parts. I’ll find a way to put pics on here but a fun but hard ride this morning up the Alpe; 1hr 42 mins which is what I was roughly aiming at. Hell of a way to celebrate one’s 50th but it’s done and now en route Tuscany!0 -
Well done!0

Yes, a great way to celebrate a birthday.... keep going... I rode the Tourmalet on my 70th.“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Great effort Max.
I have just entered the hill climb up the Alpe on 6th July. Looks like the normal short lived pain of a normal British hill climb drawn out to the duration of a 25 TT.0 -
Fantastic, top effort Max, and kudos to kingdav for supplying those parts!
I bet there are not many Halfords Carreras that have been up that mountain!Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Re Hill climb, I signed up for that a few years ago. Didn't get out of bed in the end (it was the morning after La Marmotte...)0 -
