Morning, milder here but heavy rain and strong winds, hopefully will be out on the bike before we go visiting the in laws
Have a good weekend0 -
Too windy to enjoy a decent bike ride, so I will probably run into town to pick up the car. Then probably play with the chainsaw for a bit and party prep.
Later will probably be the local0 -
Gopping outside. Awful.
Was meant to be riding - cancelled. Was meant to be meeting a friend for a walk with Das Hund- cancelled. This sucks.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Best weather day of the week, getting out there to show them who's bossI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

It's a good job you lot don't live on the West Coast of Scotland, if you did, you'd never get out on your bikes.
One little breeze...
Deciding what to do with Toots. It's dreich oot there; smurry and dark.
I want things back to normal asap. Unfortunately, I might have to wait until next week before that happens.

Morning crap weather avoiders and southern softies,
Went for a run last night to shed a bit of lard. The pavements were well iced and lethal so took a few chances that I wouldn't tread on a dog turd running on the verges. Nice and fresh - BBQ weather as they call it on Teesside
Got the garden sorted now apart from the dodgy tree, and the house is looking in decent shape now with just a few more bits n pieces to go through before its down to the liveable basics. The municipal tip staff know me quite well now.
Currently dosing up on bacon sarnies and tea (with more bacon sarnies for the drive South this afternoon). If I time it right I can get footy coverage for most of it."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Am now incredibly bored and the weather is getting worse.
Bored.
Waiting for TDV to get back from her posh gym/sauna/swimming pool place so I can to the garage to lift some weights.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

You won't make it across the 7 metre gap. It will be your undoing. Then you'll be undone. Then you'll need putting back together like the last time. Then you might be put back together in the right order this time. Then you'll finally reach Ying Yang. Then the neighbours will love and forgive you. Then you'll disappear into the sunset, running naked, singing 'Gentle on my mind' and free of all material baggage and want.
So you need to do it and you'll thank me for it.
Alternatively, just take LSD.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
I took lsd once. I had a weird encounter with a couple of pipe smoking hikers in the pub opposite Kenilworth Castle. The bar telescoped off into the distance, but they remained my fixed point of reference. I suppose they thought I was the weird one.
Anyway, doggo, lunch with friends, shaking my head at my sad, lonely looking bicycle.0 -
Cloudy start, then belting sunshine again. Had to swim several times, but suntan is looking very George Hamilton.
Bacon and egg roll for lunch which was not up to usual standard, and the coffee was likewise sub-par. Still, could be worse. I could be in the UK with you bunch of misery-guts! So depressing reading all the whinges on Cake Stop. Trump-this. Brexit-that. Bad drivers. Stupid people. Icy roads. Chips on shoulders about Other People's Tax Affairs..

Hallucinogenic definitely help at this time of year. Used to scare the kids but they’ve got used to it now. Nearly convinced a friend to buy an old MV Agusta race bike to replace his telly once. I think we were still tripping, unfortunately he phoned a friend that hadn’t been up all night off his tits just before handing the cash over. I think it was about £15k.
I think I own a bicycle, not sure where I left it.0 -

I know exactly where my bicycles are - in kit form in a pile of boxes in the garage. Can't wait to get them back in actionOpen One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
There's definitely something about it.
Mind you, £15k could buy you a hell of a lot of woman (or man, if that is your preference) and cocaine.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

mrs s has flown off to 'nam with family, told her it's full of insects, diseases, thieves and unexploded munitions but she enjoys globetrotting, on the plus side she's going to see ha long bay which i'm a smidge envious of, especially as i'll soon be off to amsterdam for gmc, mehmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -

Windmill car park Hopper? I thought it only carried on after dark.
The MV was an old 350 racer as I recall, more like this:
Truly a beautiful thing. We almost soiled ourselves when he fired it up.
I’ve just been into Kingston which was stupid, now having a lie down to recover. Think I may be coming down with something, or I’m allergic to hordes of the great unwashed.0 -

Sure, if you are young and have no dependencies or you're not going to go silly and mangle yourself, relying on other people to spoon feed you in a wheelchair dribbling your last for the rest of your life.
We get too many of these motorbiking tw@ts going along the A75 at silly speeds sometimes splatting themselves into the front end of a truck on their way to and from the TT or the Northwest 200. Sport bikes are so damn quick and the only place to let loose is properly and on a race track.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I did a track day once on my old Honda 900, which was entirely the wrong thing to use on a short twisty lumpy track. One of the club guys had a Ducati single (350 or 450? Can't recall) that had a redline of about 3,000 rpm. He lapped the field regularly. Big 180 degree bend at the end of the main straight, and while I was hanging off with knee, boot, pegs and exhaust all grinding away he'd just motor round the outside of me then braaaaaaaaap off into the distance.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0
