This is mine with some novelty red rim wheels. I was mostly using it with 60mm wheelsmith carbon clinchers but sold those wheels recently.

Mine is the slightly more recent version (it’s actually ST01, 02 is with white instead of naked carbon).
Ah! ST02, with white seat post, stem & bars. That is what I was trying to describe above.
Sounds like the OP has something in mind now though.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

You are correct I'm leaning towards a ST01 theme as my winter bike is white (I know...) and I fancy something a bit different plus the carbon weave does look good with clearcoat.

The Italian theme of the ST01/ST02 definitely works IMHO so thanks for all the input and keep them coming as I'm not 100% yet

While browsing another thread about a guy who wants to "refresh" his Trek Domane with a respray - one of the sites suggested has this as an example of a colourway on one of their bespoke bikes

    GreenBikeBespoked3.jpg

Could be an interesting twist on the "Italian" theme. The company is Donard bikes based in Northern Ireland

    http://donard.cc/

but I'm sure they've not copyrighted the scheme so you could borrow the idea if it takes your fancy
  • Thanks I saw that thread but not had a chance to look at donard.cc.

    I will do now.

interesting thread. i love the deep red on this colnago - any estimates on what it would cost to get my current carbon kuota sprayed this colour ?

ooooh - that wirh a metallic finish would look lovely.

single block colour shouldn't be too expensive - couple of hundred?

I was quoted £250 for a full respray and decals for my Master. http://argoscycles.com
Will be 10 hard years old soon and the decision is to keep original but tatty, or refurb.
