Well my hernia op is opped and I have to take it easy for a few weeks.
Good news is that my sicknote is in the post to the court so my jury service which was due to start on Monday is now cancelled.
    Woohoo!!

Welcome to my world. I really should try and get another job, but inertia and comfort...
Just been to parents' evening. Mini H3 doing ok. Picked up a tenners worth of lucky dips on the way home, so hopefully I'll be 25 million quid up tomorrow morning. You can all have a new bike if I am.

Long old walk Matt, he works on another site with his chums. Ill save the kicking for when I get to visit so some meeting or such, wont say anything just a plum punt and walk off.

I'm liking A mainly because his last name begins with an A so I can blag it.

Sent him an email reminding him of my name and that I would prefer him not to refer to me as B. if he carries on least I have my dislike on record.

Place I worked at years back is how I ended up being called Step as we had five people called Stephen/Steven in the same area.
At one company, our New Zealand branch had a staff of 51 all up. 12 of them were named David. They were all "assigned" a number, so if you rang and asked for Dave 7 everybody knew who you meant.

The only thing that happened was the thing that didn't happen - Seano didn't buy a new TV.

So does this mean you'll be posting on here before 11pm Bally, with all that extra time? Oh hang on...

Initially read that as Ballyrina and was quite touched that she wanted to emulate me in some way?
Thought Toots had been logging on to BB or Pinno had been waxing lyrical to them about this amazing guy on BB.

Mrs P has a sense of humour. The toots usually go into kinks when we're having a non-serious pop at each other.

    Eeek.

I did some research for you and it's good news. Both the Liquorstop and The Festival Fish bar do home deliveries.

Good work junior V68. Where's he going next? New Zealand?
Yep, flies to Auckland and straight on to Queenstown. Then the small matter of finding a job.

Daughter flies to Queenstown in December. She has a one way ticket as she doesn't know where she is off to after NZ.
Lad should still be there then if all goes to plan. Does she know anyone or where to go upon arrival? If not he may be of some use, unlike his dad he's not a total waste of space.
    Hope the op went well.

Cheers for that VN, much appreciated, I will pass it on.
She flies out on 10 Dec Cathay Pacific/ Air NZ. She has a hop on/off bus tour ticket for both islands which gets activated on first use, but I believe she is hanging around QT over Xmas as that is the happening place.
Don't think she has anyone lined up to meet when she gets there but after she spent 12 months in OZ she is linked up with people from all over the world, one of which was a Kiwi IIRC who wanted to sponsor her to stay with him in NZ but she wasn't interested.
But always nice to know there is someone at hand to show her the ropes.

Oh and op went fine, ta.
