Bianchis should be celeste. Colnagos are available in red.
Red is faster. Alt - Buy the one you prefer. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Stick with me and I'll spend every penny you have on the most beautiful bicycles never to grace the backside of a club rider.

Personally I wouldn't go for Italian brands. They make nice bikes but you get no value for money.
BUT since u asked, if I have to choose between one of them I'd go with bianchi. Not that colnago is bad, but it's the only major brand that still glues together carbon tubes.(whereas the monocoque production used by 99.9% of major manufacturers). That just gives me an impression that colnago is lacking a bit in the modern tech, and potentially a terrible R&D department
(No offense to colnago fans, this is just my humble opinion)0 -
I’ve a Bianchi and I love it, but I wouldn’t buy another because they’re crap value for money. The LBS near work has a Colnago frame in Mapei colours they refuse to sell to me.0

The Basso posted earlier is a good looking beast. Personally I go for Colnagos, they are the most comfortable, most dynamic and prettiest bikes as far as I'm concerned which is why I have four of them. The C60 is an epic ride.
You need to test both to be sure.0 -

I couldnt comment on the ride of either brand.. skint.
The C60 is stunning although I just can't see past the classic celeste, there is something about that colour.0 -

If value for money is the yardstick then it's hard to see why anyone would look beyond budget brands like Ribble or Dolan. If you stick some decent wheels on it and say 105 then for around 1500 quid you've got yourself a bike that can basically do everything you'd ever want or need and do it just as well as something five times the price with a different badge on the frame. A CAAD 12 would be similar value but with a bit more brand Kudos. The reason we don't all go down that route is probably because we buy with our hearts as well as our heads. It's why people buy VWs over Skodas even though they're exactly the same car to all intents and purposes. Most of us have a bit of latent snobbery in us and ownership is often about how we think other people perceive us rather than just the functionality of a given product. Me? I love the style, passion and emotion Italians bring to whatever they do. I love Italian bicycles with Italian groupsets. I love their motorbikes, cars food and women as well!!!! Give me a Pinarello or a Colnago over a Trek any day of the week - any Trek, even their 12 grand flagship that's so light it floats away if you're not sat on it, they just don't stir anything in me at all.0 -

Lol, I own a Skoda myself but that's because it's cheap and reliable and leaves me spare cash for nice holidays and bikes. I also owned a Ribble which was a great bike but one which I never really loved, unlike the Coppi Repparto Corse I had which was a thing of beauty.0 -
When aesthetics come into play there's only certain models that look any good and then only in certain sizes. The C60 isn't balanced to the eye mainly because of the downtube, but people think it's a good looking bike just because it has Colnago written on it, but it's flawed to look at. Riding a Pinarello is pointless as you'll look like a fanny and it's a lot cheaper just to tattoo the word fanny on your forehead. An Oltre can look good with the right wheels and finishing kit to be fair, and a Specialissima can also look good but then again if you changed the name on it and it could be just about anything.
Of course aesthetics are only part of the reasons to choose, maybe irrelevant to some people, Colnago hold their value more if that's any form of consideration. Both companies make great bikes of course, it depends what floats your boat.0 -
