Thanks again for all the advice above, most appreciated. I must wait now for the sealant to arrive. I could not find orange sealant in France so it's on the way from the UK, fingers crossed for when it goes in.0

Decathlon sell sealant, 10 euros for a great big bottle - you want the white stuff not the blue stuff.BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

Another person here struggling to get a tubeless setup to work...
I bought some Love Mud Orbit gravel wheels from Alpkit and have paired them with some G-one tyres. Taping was tricky, but I think I've done a decent job. Tyres were pretty easy to get on and seated. Problem I've now got is that there is air leaking around the valves, they won't stay inflated for long and despite Orange sealant pretty much p*ssing out, it's not holding.
Any suggestions? I've already re-taped the wheels once. Now contemplating whether I need to try a slightly different valve design or just give up.0 -
I never totally fixed the rim joint leak on my Prime Peletons. The tires would deflate at this point over a couple of days and loose a few psi during a ride. So I took the tire off, lightly sanded the bead to make the joint flush on the inside and used some good electrical tape to seal the joint. Put the tires back on an reflated and problem solved.
Of course getting the tires to inflate after they've been on and off the rim was a real pain even with a pretty good compressor. Maybe a one shot or CO2 would have done it?BASI Nordic Ski Instructor
