    Excess of DIY or booze?
Pfffft, a little "excess" booze never broke any one did it?? Cabernet Sauvignon is my post-exercise recovery shake.

Not sure if this work even counts as DIY. All I'm doing is digging up dirt and rocks, shovelling into buckets then schlepping them down a steep path and a flight of stairs to dump it. Repeat. A hundred times a day. More yet too. :(

You'll end up walking like John Wayne if you have too much meat.

    Stop being silly.
Stevo - is a 'John Wayne' steak one that interferes with your rear end so you walk funny?

    Great minds think alike.
Am going to live my life vicariously through you until you get back to the drudgery and souls destroyingly witless life of accountancy that I know you want to break away from.

D'aesh onion jumped out at me so I slotted him with a Nerf gun. That'll learn him.

Well done. That's the problem with those pesky onions - they're round and they roll.

Will be moving house once the small matter of selling this one is sorted. To do that, there's a few jobs that need finishing off. Dreary boring bureaucratic drivel like getting a building inspection certificate mean we can't leave the chasm at the back door there and pass. Never bothered building the damned deck because there's no reason to go out that way much at all, and it's always been a job to avoid. Until now. It will look fabulous when done, so someone else can get the benefit. Hopefully it will add triple its cost to the sale price of the house.

Could, but that would mean time wasted. Plus, I'd have to go back to work to pay for it.
