It is a good days racing in horrible weather, Wellens and Dumoulin have 10secs on GVA/Naessen group and almost a minute on Sagan group (PSagan had a puncture and lost a minute or so)

Been some great stages reprising Spring. Final stage taken by Stuyven with a well timed last 3km break and overall by Tom Dumoulin.

Fraid to say that Tony Martin seems almost Contador-esque in his fairly silly and doomed breaks. Loved both of them in their pomp but he just doesn't look as if he still has it - he will probably still with World's but too often in Tours he misses the timetrial stage and then spends a few days in madcap breaks that are just too long to ever survive

Stuyvesant wins stage from 2km out after Sagan tells the rest he's not chasing. Sagan comes in 4th.
    Tom dum takes overall win.

Could have been Decent stage if they didn't all wait for Sag to chase down every break.
    Nice parcours on this one.

So, once upon a time there was a thread about who could potentially win all 5 monuments. How about Dumoulin? I'm saying that as in he has the potential to win any of them, rather than he will potentially win all 5 (or indeed any).

Nowadays it is also about targeting them. With Dumoulin going for Grand Tours it seems unlikely he will be targeting Flanders and Roubaix for the win. Most likely his shape won't be there for Milan-Sanremo as well, especially if he targets the Tour de France.
