Barguil doing the spotty t shirt credit. Nice to see a KoM winning mountain stages instead of sneaking points.

Bardet gets the final bonus seconds to retake second, Froome and Uran on his tail. Landa loses a few seconds.

Upright, arched back, arms at funny angles, is Chris Froome the worst looking bike rider ever?

Uran lost 2 seconds to Bardet and Froome. Not enough to stop him taking second I suspect but another bit he needs to get back on Froome.

Yup. Even amongst a fair amount of meh, there's been some great showings - Barguil, Martin, along with Flower and Landa on Froome's behalf.

So, with the exception of Aru, everything returns to where it stood before yesterday?

Have you even seen Aru? A tragedy for the Italian jersey.

Can Dan Martin put a minute into Aru in the TT? Seems to be holding his form, whereas Aru looks worse every day.

Congrats to Barguil on an epic display and confirming the polka-dot jersey in style. Froome didn't quite have enough va va voom and Bardet has Uran to thank for his third place. If Uran hadn't pulled back to Froome on that short section of downhill then it would have been game over.

I suspect Uran will overhaul Bardet in the TT on Saturday. I would like to see Landa do the same to get some reward for all his efforts but I think that will be a tall order.

Close isn't it, nothing an annoying puncture or mechanical in a TT can't shake up :)

Saturday should be tense for at least for a few mins.
