I despair of some of these teams. QS had two on the front at 5k who blew chasing Bodnar and rather than force them to bring more men forward the other teams bought a train to the front. Why not make them at least earn the stage?

Gutted for Bodnar. At least someone was keen to make QS have to work.

The definition of a sprint stage in this year's tour: 180 riders p1ss about for a few hours and then Marcel Kittel crosses the line first. :|
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

McLay 2 positions better than yesterday! On stages 2 and 4 he didn't place, then he's done 8th-10th-7th-5th.

Groenewegen played his cards right and took Kittel's wheel, but Kittel is just too fast.

It's not as if QS are even having to work. Two men on the front doing the controlling and one to bring Kittel through at the end to use the Katusha / Lotto / DD / Giant lead out trains. Muppets.
  • Thank fook we have a proper stage to look forward to tomorrow

At about 3km to go Kwiatkowski was on the front. But he might have been trying to slow them down for his Polish mate.

    New PTP top 10:

    1: Key with a 6 point lead
2: ShockedSoShocked and NervexProf joint 2nd
    4: Cruff, Omar Little, rozzer32
    7: RichN95
    8: dish_dash
    9:Specialized_Nick
    10: gregster04

However Key, ShockedSoShocked and RichN95 all have Porte for GC so can be discounted, leaving NervexProf as the virtual Maillot Jaune.

Really all the other 'sprint' teams should just not blooming ride. Yes I know they want a stage win and are probably really, really bored and so want something to do but this is just silly.

I don't remember Cav's repeated wins being this boring or maybe I have rose tinted glasses because he has always been my number one MY MAN.

Oh my god, could it be any more boring, please someone make QS actually earn a win, instead of just gifting it day after day. Pathetic.

Instead of the podium girls they should make Kristoff and Greipel hand him the prizes.

I assumed Zubdeldia was in there somewhere, but since no one knows what he looks like it's probably fake news.

At least EBH was cracking jokes on ITV.
    Now that is different.
