Cycle chain rust

I took my new bike to the coast last week.
I didn't go on the beach or get sea water on the chain but today noticed it's corroded / rusty - there was an onshore wind so it must've been wind borne salt.
It's a high end bike - Cube SL Road Pro - should this have happened?
What should I do to fix this? Can I just leave it or will it get worse?
Pictures in the link. Thanks in advance.

Seriously?
Just oil it as normal. It'll be fine.0 -
Perfectly normal, you just learnt the importance of keeping your chain properly lubed.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Pedal around a bit and it will come off. It won't look as shiny as before but it will be fine.0
