Cycle chain rust

I took my new bike to the coast last week.

I didn't go on the beach or get sea water on the chain but today noticed it's corroded / rusty - there was an onshore wind so it must've been wind borne salt.

It's a high end bike - Cube SL Road Pro - should this have happened?

What should I do to fix this? Can I just leave it or will it get worse?

Pictures in the link. Thanks in advance.

    Seriously?
Just oil it as normal. It'll be fine.

Perfectly normal, you just learnt the importance of keeping your chain properly lubed.

Pedal around a bit and it will come off. It won't look as shiny as before but it will be fine.
