You wouldn't cry too much if that got 'smashed up'. Why ''smash it up' anyway, why not take care of it?

105 ain't what it used to be. My first upgrade was to 105 and it went on and on and on...
I do tend to really look after stuff - my crit bike is 7 years old and when I was cleaning it the other day realised that it was still mint.
It's just that it's likely to get crashed, dropped, abused through winter - will be cleaned to an inch of its life each weekend but I suspect it may get a tad abused.
The Centaur will take that abuse. It's a very work horse type of gruppo.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
It's shagged which is why he's selling it. And it's not black, so will lose me 2 mph top end. And I'd have to buy a new cassette which I can't be bothered to do.
Apart from that, good call though.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Fire, deffo. Burning fire, then throw the whole lot into next door's hay barn.0

Next door's hay barn filled with jerry cans of illegal red diesel?
Nice.

That De Rosa is sweet though. Incidentally,I was holidaying on the ile d'Oleron a few years back and met this guy called Brian, he was from somewhere in England that isn't quite London, but near enough. He had a Titanio. That's a true story.0
-
Actually, maybe it was Sardinia. No, it was definitely Ile d'Doleron. Sardinia was the year before.0

Isn't everywhere in England somewhere in England that isn't quite London but near enough but still fairly mediocre?Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

No, some of it is somewhere in england that's like coronation street.0 -
Why d'ya think it's called TitaNiO?
Harsh ride. Yes, the De Rosa is beautiful but if you want truly exotic and bespoke CF made to your exact size, you want a Sarto Seta:

AntoNio? Never knew.
Seen that before. How much? More than a second hand Volvo? Does it come with a BSA BB?0 -
Sarto - rhyms with Farto {snigger}.
Hmm - something about those says that they will age rapidly. Don't know what. Does it have to be c/f: how about an Anderson in steel: http://www.andersoncustombicycles.com/
Re Malta - no, I haven't but I think I have friends who have. I think its stunning but ridiculously expensive. Or was that Sardinia? Have I actually been to Malta? Not sure really. I've been to Sicily and that's shittt. I wouldn't recommend Sicily to anyone.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Anderson: That bloke wot own that bike posts on yur.
The only steel bike I want is a Master.
You're thinking of Sardinia, that's stunning. Malta's the biggest shithole I've ever been to (and I've been to Bridgend AND Prestatyn). It's like a big piece of wasteground. and the food is shite, like roadkill or something.0 -

Very smart even though it's not Italian but funny how all these exotica are adorned with Campag.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Was I right about why it's called Titanio?
I would take that Sarto over the Anderson though. Sorry, that bloke.0 -

Ah - so Malta is a no no then. Not to be confused with the Maldives.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Please don't confuse it with the Maldives or Mauritius, or Morecambe and don't take TDV there. She'll throw you into the path of one of those stupid yellow buses that they have and think are cute or something, but they're not, they're just shite like everything else. Go to Corsica instead, go there tomorrow.0

I can't - she's away again which is why I am SPMF and still on here at 23:01 and not snoring in my pit.
Better than Morecambe? Never. Now you're bullshitting.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am
