Can't really disagree with Stevo on any of that. Interest rates might go up by the obligatory 0.25% by end of year, but other pressures on the pound might postpone this even further. Pound to fall further against EUR and USD, expect more attempted "purchases" of UK PLCs and for Brexiteers to hail this as a strong sign that "Brexit is working".

Stock up on Leeks, go short on Sheep (they don't care about rain). That's the word on the street.

Be careful what you wish for Stevo, I mean that ^ was incredibly boring.

Just checking, making stuff sound boring can have its uses to get things done. I've tried to make today's project of getting my little financial re-engineering sound as dull as possible; unfortunately the size of the numbers kind of give the game away.

    I avoided mentioning sheep.

    Is that moving decimal points?

BTW, you have 6 minutes, then it's back to work.
I think i'll have another coffee and assume my natural position on the couch. Now what should I have for lunch...

Yep, three commas. You kind of get used to it after a while but it's quite good fun playing around with obscene amounts of money :)

Nope, never been tempted to do a 'Leeson'.

spent a decent wedge on rapha stuff last week only for an email to arrive with a 20% discount code available if i enter a poxy competition. Emailed em now waiting for a response. And no i don't want to send the kit back, get a refund and order the same stuff again.

Then again I could ask MF or Hayden to drop by a store and lick Rapha's windows until they acquiesce to my narrative.

    Errr, no.

Assoss maybe, but not Rapha. Sorry.

Imagine TDNFNATN in Assoss. Now you're talking.

Window lickers not needed. A voucher for more than the requested amount was emailed today. Result.
