Ciao
The sun is shining and all is well here - dossy day at work planned as I intend to do nothing and then take some people for a run before coming home early.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Driving a desk today and I may have a flutter on tobefair at Cheltenham. I don't usually bet but it's a decent story around the horse which is the only basis for my bet.
Which probably says a lot about me.“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring”

Same as Slowmart today driving a wooden structure with computer gumph on it. planning a low level of work today and tomorrow due to a general lack of motivation.0

Also driving a desk, but that's not unusual as it's what I do most days. Mild Thursday hangover is present and correct. Went to a different pub and had food as well as it was a mate's birthday. Reasonably busy again at work, but that's normal for the time of year. Going to go for lunch with the Mrs later which is something nice to look forward to.0

Regular pre work ride this morning and it was like pea soup over the tops.
Site meeting regarding a moohassive job and now back in a similar position to those above, desk bound.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Today it is raining, may well have to spend time under a different roof (ie One with ridge tiles)
Wahey, day offmy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
Broken the back of one lot of stuff only to have a new lot dumped on my plate, which I'm in the process of teflon desking to others (mostly). Cycling again today as I need to get a spot of fitness training in before my Welsh trip.
Working from home tomorrow as a need to get my DPF sorted. Yay."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Just had a lovely run in the sun. Now have feet on desk enjoying coffee. Lush.
Thank you for paying for it all.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

I can't arrange that personally but when I get my legs blown off who'll be laughing then, eh? Be a tad tricky going runs in the sun and fresh coffee after that, eh?
Now have feet up at home, got cheeky smile from half way decent single mummy at the school and having some fresh coffee while pondering how I have been dropped in to instruct a load of bods over the next few days when, officially, I haven't been told I'm doing it and I only found out through nefarious means that I only instigated to see if I could get out of being cold.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Well 'straight' is a bit of an exaggeration, there's a few wedges on those poles to get the wobbly rough sawn batons to line up on the wobbly poles, no rain tomorrow so work can progress, I'm off painting the inside of the country house tomorrow, which is in the hills so if it rains there no probs as that one has a roof!
Is it too early to open the wine?my isetta is a 300cc bike0 -

Beer and pork scratchings?
Pah! Pork scratching! Burgers from a mobile vehicle and freezing cold rain. Followed by a long walk to the nearest decent pub and the ten o'clock bus back home. How's that sound?0 -
Sounds like bliss. Any chance you can arrange so that when I get home cold, wet and hungry there is no beer or food in the house?Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Consider it done. You'll also piss yourself on the twenty odd mile bus ride home.0 -
What would make it sooper dooper double brill is if you could arrange for it to be freezing cold, the heating to be off and when I investigate why it's off the next day it's because I've run out of oil and not only do I have to wait 2 weeks for a new delivery but it's fukkked my boiler as well so I have to pay for boiler repairman to come out as well.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Uncanny! We actually do have oil fired central heating. I'm on my way to the shed to get the axe even as we speak!0 -
Find like the boiler's flux capacitor, smash it with a hammer and throw it into next door's garden. That'll do the job.
I like the use of the axe though - very Welsh valleys/forestry.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Mate of mine from school joined RAMC. Never heard from him again. You didn't smash him up with a hammer and chuck him into someone's garden did you?0 -

We'll stick him on a bus to cumbernauld, or girvan or somewhere like that. He'll fit in nicely.0
