Suspension training systems

Morning,
As a 54 y old of moderate Heath long term ITB issues (gradually being resolved by physio and exercises) and a small tear in my meniscus) have left me considering resistance or suspension training to improve my flexibility and overall body strength without resorting to gym work or weights. Cost varies dramatically from £20 to £140 and reliability and features aside it is difficult to see how one is better than the other. Anyone use them found them useful and any recommendations or reasons to spend more?
Cheers
Bob

I have them .... never use them, weights are just easier and proven to be effective.

N bet got on with curve if resistance ... i.e. When he start to stretch they offer little resistance and at full stretch they offer lots ... bit annoying if you are only getting max resistance at the end of a move, and the resistance is not consistant depending where you stand in relation to the fix point.

Where as a 100kg bar is always 100kg

    I don't think my puny arms could lift a 100kg bar :D
Which is part of the problem.
