    My slightly more scientific method (remembering to check my watch a few seconds after the leaders passed it) agrees.

    GVA's leg warmers are marginally more acceptable than Sagan's because the gap is large enough to look deliberate.

    I'm struggling to see how Sep is going to win this, but I remain hopeful. A few years ago he would have had it on a plate with two specialist second place finishers, but these days both seem to have put that behind them.
