Hi all, the spoke nipples in my rear wheel keep breaking, they appear to be corroded and have had the local shop replace a few now. What's the best way to sort this, replace all nipples with stainless?? I'd need to get someone to do it, any idea of what I should be paying??
Thanks
Jay

Ok, rough cost to have them all replaced? Seems to be happening on a regular basis :-(0

If a few have gone now is the time to replace them all.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Nipples will cost you a couple of pounds, a wheel true up about £20 or learn to do it yourself.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I'd replace the spokes as well if the wheel needs a rebuild.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Do not pull excessively hard, do not twist, lubricate when needed.0
