You mean the majority of 'voters' - not the majority of the country. Bit of a difference.
No real difference.
17m voters from a total eligible electorate of around 45m. Well worth correcting you, I reckon.Carbonator wrote:Hope I did not come across as uneducated or senile
Well, if you voted brexit we can only guess...
If you had quoted all of my reply the answer was there lol
But you don't want the answer in the same way you don't want the result lol.
If people don't vote thats their problem.
Its the same with all elections etc.
Nope, neither uneducated or senile, just like lots of the people that voted out
You remoaners are acting like the children you wish could vote0 -

Learning is learning - regardless of the source. As long as the source is credible, obviously...0 -
Carbonator wrote:So wishing death on people who only stood up for what they believe (and the majority of country agreed wit) without the balls to snub out child killers lol.
I think that about sums up the type of attitude that led to Farage and Trump winning.
You voted Brexit and think it takes balls to reinstate the death penalty. Great...

Why did you quote my whole post but only comment on one small part?
Can see I am outnumbered here (unlike in the democratic referendum 8) ) so have fun guys.

That was a very short lived flounce.0 -

Whereas name-calling is entirely grown up behaviour.
It's just a hill. Get over it.0 -

I am assuming that is code for so called experts!!!
Content is what matter not where it is published - therefore the internet is as good a source as a book or indeed a Wetherspoons beermat0 -

a very condescending attitude and one that wont win over any of the 16 million who you want to ignore, they are being forced to accept higher inflation, lower growth/spending because of people like you or people like mrfpb, who rely on the state for their income, a bit like many pensioners who also voted out.
i presume your also against 16/17 yo joining the 'services? as they are just children.0 -
It's a useful deflection from the finding that UKIP and its EU associates have misspent EU money on UK domestic election and referendum campaigns.
And they say satire is dead.0 -
Nothing like a Farage/Brexit/Trump thread to bring out the very best in everybody.
I had better stock up on the popcorn. This could be a long haul.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I think we should remember that Donald Trump described Katie Hopkins as a respected columnist. I think he just likes a bit of mischief.0 -

Why do you insist on drawing a connection between my getting benefits and my voting leave, is it because you can't argue against my reasons for voting leave. I let your comment go the first time, but this is the third thread where you have attacked me for receiving benefits for a disabled child. What is your problem?0 -

News today saying he's off to the States to be an economic migrant with an immigrant for a wife.
Also announcing he's a man of the people while at a party in his honour, at the Ritz, bankrolled (like his leave campaign) by a millionaire, non-dom, tax avoider - Aaron Banks
You REALLY couldn't make it up

You bought up the topic with a little dig on "starting a family" thread, i wasnt going to mention it again, but the point remains, that the bottom 1/3 of the country, in terms of income, will suffer the most due to brexit and you most certainly will be effected as working benefits are frozen, whatever your reasons for leaving (and i dont fcuking care) you ve voted for a worse outcome for you and your family, how is that a wise decision?
i pay about £900 per month in tax/NI, i dont mind one bit, its whats makes for a decent society BUT people on the receiving end also have responsibilities, its not all about rights, i dont get wtc or childcare credits, yet it seems to me, that many in the middle i/c stream are seen by gov as some sort of Golden Goose.
If i ve offended you, it wasnt deliberate, i dont even know you.
As for Farage, as i said the sooner he becomes our man in Washington the better.0
