    2019/20 is certainly a lot muddier/wetter than 2018/19! This makes me very happy :D

    Central league yesterday was brilliant, even though I was only pitting and watching. Wished I could have ridden.

    It was great fun, I love riding my bike sideways!

    I'm not sure it is wetter so far this year; Welwyn was the first race we've had this season that's been wet enough to justify mud tyres, and it's the same weekend as last season's first muddy race (Bedfont Lakes). Next weekend is looking dry.

    There's an argument that we're all starting and finishing our CX racing a month too early. On the flip side, with my organiser's hat on, it's waaaaaaaay easier to secure a venue and volunteers, and generally run an event, when it's likely to be warm and dry and the evenings are long...
