    Got a email yesterday from superstar telling me the wheels were out of stock due to a listing error. Offered other options but got a refund instead so will keep looking

    Stans Arch ex rims on switch hubs are on there way . Just need more time to get out riding now.

    Damn, that sucks. Did they offer you any discount on the Stans wheels you bought? Did you not fancy any of the other rims they had in the offer?
    Mine turned up last night. Nowhere near as light as my other wheel set but I never expected them to be. Stuck a 2.2 x King on there to see how they sat on a wider rim; I can definitely see why there's a trend towards wider wheels.
    I'm guessing the arch will be lighter width for width than the rims you have at the minute?

    They offered me a deal on the other mavic rims in stock but had seen the stans wheels else where second hand so waiting for them to arrive .

    Also got a set of the newer style graphics from one of my mates , just waiting for him to bring them round.

    Stans sealent ordered and a roll of 1" gorilla tape. Wheels have stans yellow tape and valves already fitted but got the gorilla tape just incase I need another layer to get a good fit. Cleaned the vales earlier as they were a bit sticky .

    Got the new decals fitted. Really freshen them up .

    New wheels are on . Only took about a hour to do both so happy with that. Soaped the beads and both went up with a track pump .

    2 x tubes 468g

    Saved a decent bit of weight , obviously have weight of sealent to add in but shouldn't think it would be more than 100g

    The stans wheels were weighed with the valves in and ready taped , bike feels much more responsive now . Very happy :)

    Got out for a ride today finally. Around 16 miles on mixed single track and small amount of rode . Bike feels just how I want it now , wheel change have really made the bike , feels nimble but still solid .
