Hurty knee for Stannard. Presumably caught up in the crash which took out Adrien Costa0
-
Time back out to 6.30 for chasers with another 45s for Stannard. Seems to be doing well....for now.0
-
What a dull stage0

Could make for an exciting finish. Could this suit Cummings again?

Stannard has 7'32" now apparently, 21.4km to go!0

I am a Team Sky/Stannard fan but this has been pretty dull.
I was hoping they wouldn't get more than 6.30 and the peloton would come hammering down the back of the C&F and catch them, and someone going clear for the final Ks0 -
Impressive ride from Stannard, but yeah not the most exciting.0

I was hoping there'd be a few attacks on the last climb, splits etc.
Alas. A boring sprint stage without a sprint.0 -
"The Cat and the Fiddle"

"The Cat and Fiddle", "Cat and Fiddle" - both fine.0 -

I was bored and so googled this. Basically, you're wrong. Comes from clocks or angles or something. Second apparently relates to a second minute. Anyway, pedantry is all well and good, but it is even better if it is correct!

Just got back from the Cat and Fiddle. Strangest sight of the day (possibly the month) was an inflatable pub in a pub car park. C&F is shut, has been for some time, so the brewery put up an inflatable pub.0

..and having wasted 5' of my life, I'm going to start using bobmcstuff's notation henceforth as it seems more elegant.0

I also googled it, several months ago
Started second guessing myself a while back and wanted to check I was doing it right (I am).0 -

Now all it's used for is by motorbikers beating the 50mph average speed check by sitting in the car park smoking for twenty minutes...0 -

Former landlord sat outside on an office chair drinking cans of Boddingtons. Sums it up really.
A pub, that needs a good injection of TLC, and maybe it could be reborn.0 -
