  • I don't think comparing this Vuelta to the terrible Tour makes it s decent race.
    Last weekend's stages were exceptional and raised it above it's big brother's bar, which was set just above ground level.
    Not by a lot, though.
    Take out last weekend and this race would have had three failures at clearing the Tour's height.

    I've enjoyed it - a steady buildup of tension followed by an explosive denouement.
