Rain and more rain and more rain...
Some warm air moving up from Spain next week - so they say. Knowing my luck, Hadrian's wall might impede it's progress.
I did pedal in the wet yesterday for 3 soggy hours.

Home today. When the surgeon said "you may have a somewhat sore throat and neck" what he really meant was "you will feel like someone has used you for sword swallowing demos, while wearing a blindfold in a darkened room".
Can't even have a proper drink because of the sodding pills I've been prescribed.
Nice day otherwise, and yes a bit breezy here too, but sunshine and 20 deg made it entirely bearable.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

V68 is currently in Italy. I guess they make interesting curries in Italy for V68 to have had this effect on the weather.
Maybe it was washed down with 6 pints of Grappa.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Wahey, last day in the office until the 24th so just 'teflon desking' stuff to the minions and hoping nothing else blows up in the next 5 hours although I have one meeting with the Group CFO to get through...
Will be packing tomorrow and off Saturday. Already stocked up on grog The weather forecast for North Norfolk is sunny, warm and dry so makes you wonder what good webbed feet are."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Maybe you should hook up and buy him a drink. Maybe 6 or 7 drinks. Maybe he'll spill the beans and you can play agony aunt and get to the bottom of it. Maybe.
Anyway, i'm online for 15 mins then I have a GT World Championship to finish (every race from the back of the grid), so make the most of this.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

VLL - are you anywhere near Chelsea on Sea?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Nay, I'm a fair bit further round the coast, about 10miles inland from Mundesley. The closest I get to Burnham is by riding out to Wells via an inland route before following the coast round home, it's makes for a decent long ride which I do a few times in the summer months.
Norfolk is indeed one of the largest counties and you shouldn't be surprised by the dry weather, it's statistically the driest part of the country after Kent I believe. This summer it's definitely the case, haven't touched the 'wet' bike for ages and the grassy verges out there are looking rather brown and washed out.0
