Some chat about chateaus and frescoes.

Disappointing on the cow and horse front.

    No wild boars.

Kittel and Coquard in a repeat of Cav and Greipel. Cav properly boxed in.

Cav seriously boxed in. Never looked in with a shout. Didn't really try.

I thought Cav did pretty well there, given how far back he was and how much work he had to do to find a non-existent way through, took 8th.

He really is in good shape, isn't he?

Had a couple of quid on coquard. Not e/w for some reason.

Also thought I was gonna grab me some good ptp pointage.

Aye he is in good shape.

I think he was quite sensible not to force the issue. He already has two stage wins, he doesn't want to have a nasty crash when his real goal is Rio.

Coquard has a knack of leaving things just too late.
The hills can't come a moment too soon after two days totaling 450kms and 60 seconds of action.

Cav a lot less upbeat with today's interview.

think cav may leave the tour once they get to the mountains, it has been successful enough for him already really and would have to go in a box to get over the mountains which would probably be detrimental to his olympic hopes, anyone else agree?
